Coudray is a small community of fewer than 1,000 inhabitants but it won a fourth flower in the National competition for Towns and Villages in Bloom in 2005.
This honour is the fruit of an overall policy focusing on embellishment and environmental improvement.

So, in 2008 the community re-established 15 kilometres of hedges in the ‘bocage’ - the characteristic patchwork landscape of this part of France - with the aim of encouraging biodiversity.
You will be delighted by its redesigned squares and streets, its flowering and ‘bocage’ hedges, and its tree-lined areas that are recurring features of your stroll…
Ramblers can watch the wildlife, which has been swift to make the most of the ample natural shelter and food sources that such plantings provide.

Coudray takes just as much care of its own habitat: the village is a feast of colour.
